Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account or use our services:

Account information: Email address, name, and authentication data via our sign-in provider (Supabase Auth / Google OAuth).

Interview session data: Sector, role, experience level, and the content of your interview sessions (messages exchanged with Alex and Alexa). We use this to generate your post-session report and store it in your dashboard.

Resume content: If you upload a resume, we extract text from it to enable resume-aware questioning. Your resume content is stored securely and only used to personalise your interview session.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and session duration, collected automatically via analytics.

Payment data: If you purchase a plan, payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card number or banking credentials — only the transaction status and plan identifier.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the VividMock platform
• Personalise your interview sessions (role, domain, experience level)
• Generate and store your post-session performance report and improvement plan
• Send transactional emails (session summaries, credit alerts, receipts)
• Respond to your support requests and enquiries
• Detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your interview content to train general AI models.

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. This means each user can only access their own data — not the data of any other user.

All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. Database backups are encrypted at rest.

Interview messages and reports are stored in your account and accessible only to you. VividMock staff access data only when required to resolve a support issue, and always with your awareness.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days.

We use the following types of cookies:

Essential cookies: Required for authentication and session management. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies: We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand page usage and improve the product. No individual-level tracking is sold to advertisers.

You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time.

VividMock uses the following third-party services which may process your data under their own privacy policies:

• OpenAI — Powers the AI interview responses. Your interview messages are sent to OpenAI for processing. See: openai.com/privacy
• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting. See: supabase.com/privacy
• Razorpay — Payment processing. See: razorpay.com/privacy
• Vercel — Hosting and deployment infrastructure. See: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

We have data processing agreements in place with all major processors.

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your session reports and data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time

VividMock is intended for users who are 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the current version was published.
